vepoc: actually 2 out of 3 posts talked about CA being Major Buy... One psot referred to Merrill's downgrade before the crash... 2nd post talked about Merrill Broker recommending it to his clients at the retail level (after the crash)... 3rd post was written by someone who works at Merrill for 13 years... he didn't know Merrill's official rating but personally thinks CA is a major Buy now based on the valuation.

So in conclusion, it is clear as a mud.. flip a coin. I think CA is worth considering... it is already down by more than 40 %... this is not a bankrupt or loss making company after all... they still have earnings coming in... and revenues are growing.. does need some house cleaning.. 40 % drop will wake up a lot of mgmt folks...
