Tincan: It is kind of logical. these Intranet stocks will NOT move up slowly. Its a different kind of animal. Look how long it took the investment community to finally recommend AOL. AFter 3 splits.
They had their heads in the sand. And they probably missed out on AMAZON, and YAHOO, and many others. If I was an investor dependent on the advice of a stock broker ("choke, gag, gasp")
I'd be thumping his desk and his head to start looking for the next
internet. Now the ball game is wide open and many are coming to play, but it is the biggest game in town. When folks see these
500-1000% increases, their piddling "maybe 30%" recommendation from their stock brokers isn't going to wash. I think maybe many
brokerages are going to start changing their "rules for stocks to watch" now. The cyber world will demand it. We are not talking
of a two/three year slow growth environment that will enable a brokerage to "analyze" a company in between power lunches and golf games.. We are talking rockets on the launch pad, where little "infrastructure" is needed, but "millions and billions" can be made.
