George, <<Is there an avenue that can be traveled that can help us, as a species, gain more conscious evolution?>> The Asian in me (lived here 20 years) would say that the avenue to conscious evolution is consciousness. The westerner in me would guess that conscious evolution involves active pursuit of conscious collective (rather than strictly individual) objectives. The human in me would quickly point out that selection of objectives requires the realization that I might be wrong, and somebody else might be right. Which, obviously, is why conscious evolution so frequently ends up paralyzed. If I had the answer I wouldn't be posting it here. I'd be raking in the $$$ on the lecture/book circuit. Still looking, though, when I take the time to think about it. Steve
