teri: re: the "Smatrmoney argument" Yeah. Rather than trying to figure out who is smarter than I am, I just try to make myself smarter. I'll never know what the biganddumbmoney did till after the fact. Like buy Indonesian gold mines where the only gold was in the fake samples; a bunch of mutual funds got in on the ground floor, and out in the basement, on that one. I suspect there are a lot of stocks that, 5 years from now, people are going to shake their heads in bafflement that anyone could be so stupid as to invest in them. I think Zapata (the internet/fish oil conglomerate) was up last week.
