" If You don't like the Thread, then leave". Thank you. This is THE INTERNET, or one of the Last Vestiges of Freedom! I'll be on this thread posting periodically long after your gone with YOUR Big Loss on C-Cube, like most other longs on this thread. It's the BEAR, THE BEAR that I worry about all the Time! I'm primarily a SHORT SELLER, who goes long at times. The BEAR can Kill You; it can bankrupt you; it can devastate you and ruin your life. I underperform slightly in a Bull Market, but make a fortune in Bear Markets. I'm making a mint now. I suffered so deeply with MO. I have such a huge long position here you can't imagine. All I did was buy and open my vault as the Senate Commerce Committee was gloating in the Sun! I'm telling YOU C-Cube is a big loser in spite of its innovative technology. Wake Up before its too late! And if You don't like losing more money in the future, then You gotta cash out of Cube now! First Rule Of Investing: Don't lose big! ( Warren Buffett ). You have to survive and Beat the Bear to last in the Stock Market! Don't be naive and/or stubborn. The Bear has no mercy and C-Cube is no BIG MO!

Here's a VCD player that uses a VCD 2.0 chip, and has added the 3.0 features in software. It appears to be based on Philips, Sony, and C-Cube's joint efforts in China...................................

LongYi's VCD Laser Disk Raises Quality of Multimedia Functions
Comline Daily News Electronics

Following the international trend in A/V technology, LongYi Enterprises began developing laser disk technology, eventually releasing its VCD laser disk in 1995. Developed in conjunction with American, Japanese and Dutch manufacturers LongYi's MPEG digital encoding technology works with its own powerful automatic servo-correction system. The OEM produced Cyber multimedia VCD player uses the American company Enreach's VCD 3.0 application software and VCD 2.0 board as its base, thereby raising the quality of its multimedia functions. The VCD3.0 can also be used for PC CD-ROMs and, with the installation of additional components, can provide access to the Internet. LongYi's Cyber multimedia VCD players bring together entertainment, games and information and is compatible with VCD2.0, 1.1, 1.0 and traditional CDs. LongYi can be reached at (07) 787-2130.
