First of all, please ignore most of what you read on the Yahoo thread. The stuff about Vivus management deliberately running the company into bankruptcy is a bunch of BS. I agree that I would not be calling Vivus on the phone for info but do at least try the e-mail.

I myself agree with your viewpoint of MUSE vs Vivus management. Hopefully, Vivus management realizes that selling the company is the best thing to do and they cut a deal sooner rather than later. I will not sell until a domestic partner is announced or a buy out takes place since I feel that this will be the time that the stock will hit an optimal price. In the mean time we just have to all be as patient as possible.

DaiS,

I suspect the company picnic was not really much of a picnic but more of a "going away" gathering amongst Vivus employees since many have already left and more will be leaving after the sale.
