Did you try a reboot to assure all DLLs etc are activated?
This last time, after creating the profile, I went into GET and changed the data path. I then exited GET and rebooted the computer. Actually I had rebooted it once before when I set up the profile. GET scans the virtual directory and sees the files, it just locks up the program when you try to load on of the data sets.

In Win Explorer do you see files? or in virtual program as a profile?

Actually, I have not looked into the J:\META directory with the explorer, I will try to exit this program and do it right now.

The files are in a directory called j:\meta\idb_0598\XXX where xxx is the directories containing the .DAT files. Maybe I have to tell GET to look into the j:\meta\ibd_0589 directory?

Does MSWIN or WOW read files?

I have not tried WOW since I was having so many problems with GET and I will not have MSWIN until Monday or Tuesday. GET reads the real metastock export files just fine.

Thank you for the reply. I would hate to think that their was something wrong with my present computer since it is only a few weeks old, but that may be the case. I can just see myself telling Intel that they do not know how to make a motherboard or CPU that will work with QP+
