Vincent - also the company announced a rather healthy share buyback when it dropped back to 13 a few wks ago... much of that selling was before the big spike down from 21-23 to 13

Hi Vincent,

The recorded numbers are in shares. I looked up the SMOD major institutional holders and ML does not have any positions recorded. Also, there is no documented news agency releases about SMOD other than the class action lawsuit filed. Just a bunch of hype so far that will most likely plung SMOD's stock price this week if it does not pan out! This is a good company that has fallen out of favor because of the Asian Flu domino industry effect.

Why would a company warn of a slowdown, sell their stock, announce a buy-back to counter a stock price erosion for the shareholders and themselves if they knew of a possible merger or hostle takeover. Surely, they can come up with a better poison pill than that! Just sounds like a bunch of noise in the street! That BB and RSI is pegged solid in overbrought condition!

My money is on 10 SMOD Oct. 12 1/2 PUTs @ 1/4. It SMOD does not pull this ace out of the hole this week, we will see $10 before we see $20. It will be one quick flush of the toilet $$ chain! TIMBER!
