The main buyer at the Telebras privatisation was Telefonica from Spain. Sadfully they are in my country too. Actually they did not win their part of the privatisation in 1990, but an american telco did (Telefonica came in 2nd). This american telco did not want to "level" with our politicians and got out of the deal and telefonica stepped in....They are in my small "hate" list. They are into the customer telco milking business. Since JC has a very different pricing philosophy, Telefonica's greedy pricing will make it easy for him to generate an attractive deal to business' and consumers. IMO
