John- Right on the INCA deal on NSCP. Somebody (I think it was NITE) was chasing the price down all day with blocks on the ask and then occasionally popping in a 1 on the bid. I would actually break out laughing when I'd see the 1 vs the 75 or 50.
Is SOES supposed to be faster than ARCA? I have been getting very fast fills on ARCA. Do you have any experience with bidding below the ask with ARCA? I have considered trying it but have been more concerned so far with getting a fill than shaving a steenth. Ever try bidding the bid and get filled for example? When I see prints at the bid I always wonder who is getting filled at that price.
On stochastics, I was using them for awhile but I noticed that since they seem to work off prints, a back print throws them off pretty often. I am focussing more on prints now and pauses. I also key off the INDU and COMPX and INDU tick. When I see all three go green, that sets me up to buy. If any of them are red, I get real cautious. Have you ever used TRIN? If so, how?
