Christine-I have a scanner but I cannot figure out how to scan and then have it post here.I am going away in a few weeks and I really wanted to post two selections. They are from Handbook to Higher Consciousness by Ken Keyes,Jr,my late mentor. The Twelve Pathways(I have posted that on SI before)and the two pages called "A Life Saver....When you are drowning in negative, seperating emotions".If anyone has it and can post it I would be forever grateful.
For me it all comes down to the mandate Love or Else. The following is a small piece from the Living Love Fellowship from Santa Rosa,CA.I am very fond of it.
Love or Else
Oh Friends,
Withholding love is the world's most costly mistake.Only loving satisfies.
There are better things to do than withhold love-and better reasons to do them.
Love is the better things.
Truth is the reason.
Love!

Let's talk about our feelings, but most of all let us feel.Let's stop hiding and stuffing our feelings. It is time that we told the truth about who we are and our mission on this planet.May you all be happy,May all beings be happy,In Living Love,Godspeed,MiriamsSon

Hi Christine, Cool on the Texas Gulf Coast? Where did you hear that? We're a little cooler than miss penni in Dallas, where I hear chickens are laying hard-boiled eggs, but we are very humid. We seldom vary from 93 degrees from April through October. Miss penni has to be careful not to take the thermometer out of her mouth if she takes her temperature outside, or it will show a bad fever.

We still have a total of less than an inch of rain since mid-March. I have bookmarked the Jesus and gospel stuff, but I don't give much priority to studying mythology. I will eventually read it. I did read some of the gospel of Thomas. Why do Christians ignore this stuff? You would think that they would want to know every word uttered by Jesus.

What really puzzles me is how Christianity, which was no big deal for hundreds of years, exploded into far more believers, that persist thousands of years later.
