LOLOL...picky picky picky Randy. Yes.....that scan is far from infallible. Just a curiosity.
Lets look at em quickly.....lightly off the top. AXC we have spoken of. I didn't realize APM had collapsed like that. Fell behind the MR curve? Still, a fetching takeover target. CERB is a holding company for Insitutform East, Capitol Copy and Cerberonics. CAX is a specialized REIT whose cash flow would really only support a dividend of 5.5 to 6 at present prices. They deal more in debt instruments, it seems, than properties. DCAI is a tiny young dialysis company. A business that sadly will not likely go away.Trailing PE under 3.5. GOYL does sunglasses and is about to be delisted. GWOX publishes textbooks and I can't even get a quote on them. Nor can I get one on JPMC - they make cable assemblies and wire harnesses for OEM's. PLCC is a little broker with a PE under 4. Now for one that kind of tickled me.....FLYT recently decided that their computer based flight entertainment systems had limited growth prospects, so they have used some of their cash to buy a dry cleaning chain, and plan to pursue a dry cleaning consolidation strategy. From airplane games to coffee stains. Hey it might work ....as mom and pop operations sell out cheaply to retire. But I hope Ed doesn't take us to the cleaners.
One of the maddening problems with this program i am playing with ( Power Investor) is that it will only incorporate info as late as the previous year.Recent quarters are in the database but not accessible in the screens. Which has a way of skewing things. So that list was for entertainment purposes only.
Personally I will take a long look at APM ( keeping your cautions in mind Randy) ...the world seems about to end in hard drive related businesses every few years .... and also look at DCAI..........and hang with AXC. Hope the last truly does turn into a plumb, because i am plumb tuckered from owning it.
