Your analysis has its points but wasn't the consolidation of facilities at Bray aimed at increasing output and reduction in overall product production and marketing costs. Agree that tax rates have to be examined but a country's tax structure which favors a particular company is not a factor for discounting. A WSJ article noted on the thread in the last 2 months noted how tax rates in certain European countries give certain companies an edge over US rivals. The tax rate boost to triby is not a one time anamoly but is a real year to year cost benefit which an investor should be glad for. I can't figure how we should discount the tax benefit, unless it is scheduled to change in the foreseeable future. It's sort of like penalizing a computer company's stock value because it uses lower cost foreign contractors to build components.
