Idea- let's discuss HOW you come up with those numbers and share it with the rest of the thread, so we can keep in line with the title of this thread. I don't want to get ***OFF TOPIC*** and make this a picker's thread, but we can discuss the merits of each company or ittem, so maybe we know where to look for the info you are drawing from. (not Vectorvest)... I know what looks good theoretically, but the numbers i am looking at are from Dec. 97 or Q-1 1998, and they don't apply to where they are going the rest of the year. How about 'revenue per employee' ?? what does this mean ?? what is acceptable ?? 'book value' what is it today ?? versus last qtr ?? no way of knowing ?? Mr. Chicken ?? you know what Warren Buffett said about chickens ?? A chicken farmer walked into a henhouse with an Ostrich egg and said "Ladies - this is what the competition is doing".
