Backing out the MARKETING EXPENSE...and what are the MARGINS...?

IMPRISTINE,

How much are the marketing expenses? You do not know. Neither do I. The 10Ks and 10Qs group all operating expenses into marketing. Those 900 employees give or take are pait. Therere are utility bills. Rent and maintenance expense. They are all in marketing expense where they should not be. That is creative accounting.

I anycase, we have a dillema debating this issue. Amazon.con does not "properly" dislose expenses. I honestly do not know how much of the marketing and operating expenses are just marketing. One could stop those but sales will decline. Even if one would stop the marketing expenses and sales do not decline, is that enough to turn a profit?

Glenn
