I agree. If some of the Big Boyz (depending on their charter) are having a problem with the number of shares in the float, they may stay away. However, there is a way around this problem, it is called a split. If the BOD of SAP feel it is the best interests of the firm and the current shareholders, why not increase the # of shares?
I know there are a certain group of investors that would not like this to happen (Ibexx), however it could effect a more orderly progression. Just idle speculation.
