Regardless of whichever party is in power, you will continue to see more socialization of the economy. Clinton co-opted Republican issues to blunt the liberal charge and to gain the political center. The Republican party is doing the same with continued socialization of the medical system. As Medicare/Medicaid comes closer to insolvency, they will continue to put artificial price limits in the program and shift costs to the private sector. No wonder people can't afford insurance, costs are going out of sight, and HMOs are losing tremendous amounts of money.
