Alan, You said <<I believe that God has his hand on Israel (the Jewish State) why is it that it irritates so many people that this may in fact be the case.............>> I agree with that, that God placed a veil over their hearts for the sake of the entire world which He has intended to save all along. The fact that God used the Jewish people to bring Jesus to the world does mean something and God did make many promises to them. But as throughout history the role of Israel has been to suffer for being the race that represented the one true God, unfortunately their role again is to suffer at the hands of the anti-christ in these last days and to be deceived one final time until the end. It is only the remnant that will be saves as the scripture states. I hope that you go in the power of God to preach the gospel so that those who are appointed will be saved before the end.
