What are your thoughts on PDE. It seems to have bottomed out at 11 3/4. SEEMS is the operative word. Thought I'd get in at 15 but had money stuck in a loser BB stock, of course. Am I repeating myself here, loser BB. Still looking to get in PDE and out of my "Bodacious Bogus"* stock.

Cliff--I have a number of rules about BB stocks.
They include: Is there enough information available for me to do effective DD. I can do good DD on other stocks, why accept less. Company PR or info is not DD.
Is the company doing something. An 'Idea' or product to be is not a good enough reason to invest. I want to see real products or production and use of the purported resources. They need to show they can run a business and use the ideas in that business.
Do they tell the truth? This may sound weird but so often I find BB companies that lie in someway. A common one is to say they are on the NASDAQ Bulletin Board. There is no such thing. I stayed out of one because they suggested investors take possession of their stock certificates saying shorting has ruined many good companies. (I watched them drop from $1.30 to .025.)
Does the idea behind the company sound realistic? This may take some technical skill to assess or simply viewed with a hard eye. Face it, even Bill Gates in the beginning, would not have made predictions MSFT would reach the level it has.
Is it hyped on the talk boards and how skillfully. If there are some real knowledgeable sounds hypesters at it you may be watching pro in action. Stay out.
If you use all of these rules you end up with very few BB stocks you would invest in. When you add in things like do I like it as an investment and what do I think the companies real potential I end up with very, very few I would consider. That a realistic way of looking at BB stocks, there should be very few you should consider.
I am like TLC for a different reason. I don't invest in BB stocks simply because it is too much work and too rare to find one that fits my criteria.
All the Best
