CM,

It is my opinion Infoseek and Disney need to go head to head with AOL.
I'm saying they should (Infoseek) create/provide and elite Online community w/ the content of Disney and charge for ISP access like AOL.
This elite service should require a monthly fee say $9.95 a month unlimited access. The market share would be enormous! They could still provide the services they do for free. If you already have an internet provider your fee for content would be 4.95.....Care to sign up?

I was w/ AOL from the start under 1mm members and experienced their growth and expertise. I am going on my 2nd year not being a member. I did however, pay the 9.99 for one year unlimited provide your own ISP...maintaining my ties to the community members. Although AOL has become vastly more sophisticated I had out grown their service to the novice web surfers. I really had resentment when I was hounded w/ sales advertising/offers by AOL when signing on to the service you were paying for. How many times do you have to tell them you are not interested in an AOL Visa card? Or buy a modem or whatever? They continue this even if you ask them not to. That was enough for me.

If you want to see SEEK/DIS grow bigger than AOL/Yahoo....that's the ticket....and an E-Ride for us shareholders.

Jeff

All right you have kept my secret twice I know.

I am the man who doesn't exist on the seek thread but who calls the moves like a witch who can cast a spell on this stock....

Summary...Longs, ought to be positive, better days maybe.

Shorts...SEEK is not the only one swinging for the fence. XCIT is right behind & LOCS is wanting a crack at a pitch too, and they are playing long ball.

The trend is your friend....and tonight is an uneasy night for all, because we pivot tomorrow. ie...it will be black or white by 4 est.
