Bruce:

Entertaining post.

And don't feel like your alone in regards to investing "solely" in COMS. I currently hold one long position right now, and it's COMS at $26. As with any stock, this issue could drop further, but in looking over a variety of factors I decided that, long-term, now was the time to buy-in and hold.

My feeling is that those willing to keep a six month to one year investment time frame on COMS will be amply rewarded...

regards,

JS

>>If this was a "moving shadow" maybe our market maker/large trader will be covering Monday a.m.<<

Good thinking...but I am trying to take it a few steps farther.

Wayne, got me thinking on this..."COMS could go down more,
or could go up". Also, we seem to be in uncharted waters
again as far as COMS breaking that 28 1/2 resistance, after
a decent earnings report. To me this stock is acting crazy,
and it may be something to do with the market supply and
demand that I still don't understand.

Some people would interpret COMS being at this price as
"must be something wrong with COMS, so let's get rid of
Eric B....it's all his fault". I don't buy this because I
see the fundamentals as still unchanged (unless the fundamentals
have secretly changed and I'm not aware of it).

Anyway, back to short covering on Monday morning. True,
this is what it appears likely to happen. But, that strong
buying at 24 1/2 on Friday...it wouldn't surprise me if
it's a temporary thing. Maybe it could be that there
are not enough bargain buyers, or they don't buy constantly
enough...I don't know. All I know is that COMS is a flaky
acting stock at the moment. But I am willing to bet that
it we have sort of reached a bottom, then we'll be getting some
gap ups in the future. But maybe it's just a temporary
bottom. It's a calculated bet at best, given COMS strange price movements since the earnings report and before.
