Patric I agree that the majority of the trial members are not idiots or goons. However, the true beauty of SI vrs the other message boards is the quality of the discussion. It can be enjoyed by lurking and used more effectively by posting. The charge to join SI is minimal and one time. Those not willing to pay up can benefit by lurking for free. There is no need to let trial members post until they pay up. SI has long been about quality not quantity and I prefer it that way. I feel most others do also. It would not be counterproductive at all to ask those who benefit from lurking to pay up in order to ask questions or contribute in other fashions. Stock discussion is much to valuable to have to deal with the few morons who take advantage of a great deal. Please, offer up the membership fee and let SI make some cash. The founders worked long and hard to get to where they are and they should be rewarded for their efforts. I am sure Go 2 Net gets the money now but they sure paid for that right also. Simple free market economy, pay for quality. ht david
