Many thanks Jeff, A.V. It did get a bit emotional didn't it.<gg> I peruse only a few message boards in my limited time permitted daily. I have the utmost respect for the insight each of you possess. Now I wonder how soon its going to be before a situation like this plays out like this in real life, huh Jeff?

Hi A.V

In the case of the company that I think is the one in your example I noticed that several million shares were sold on the way down and believe they were a part of the shares used to make the acquisition. It also seemed as if that sale triggered a steep and sudden decline in the price. I have suggested the repurchase of shares and was told that the co is looking to see if perhaps there may be other acquisitions, but wouldn't it be better to repurchase and wait for a higher valuation before making another acquisition? I assume the company stock way rebound more or sooner than the shares of whatever they might be interested in acquiring.

Will

So, you have not bought any stocks, have you?

I will be away, hope you make out well. Never got your message you mentioned.

Started to nibble today on some of the high techs....long term player, as you know. Besides, I won't be here to track.

Godd fortune to you and all over the next few....
