Greetings DLL, Thank you for your response. My response to you stating three criteria to keep in mind when reading the Old Testament prophets, was in response to your post # 19832. You listed a number of Old Testaments prophets, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Joel, along with their respective scriptures. You then asked me if they were completed , and if so, when. You will notice that I did not reply to your question at this time, we agreed to study Daniel first. I am trusting that the Holy Spirit would do just that when we complete our study of Daniel. Yes, indeed 2 Peter1:20-21 and 2 Tim. 3:15-17 I fully endorse, but that was not the basis I stated the three criteria to keep in mind when reading Old Testament prophecy. These criteria are a prerequisite to understanding these prophecies. Failing to do so, is one of the main reasons there are so many false doctrines. Please do not infer that I am your teacher DLL, as I stated before, that I am not, the Holy Spirit is our Teacher. Let us push on my brother, trusting in the Holy Spirit to Give us His Understanding in the Holy Word. If you have any further questions , please respond, otherwise we will go back to Daniel 9. Grace and peace be unto you DLL. Robert
