You predict GCTY will disappoint us, but I can't find anyone else saying that in public, can you?

So, therefore, it MUST be false, huh? Afterall, EVERYONE ELSE can't be WRONG.... could they?? Talk about your contrarian indicators! Gee, Steve, maybe Debs is right through original thinking and not parroting what "someone else is saying in public"!!

Are you short CMGI?
Why is it that when someone (Diabolique, Debs, me, or the other un-medicated denizens of this thread) posts something that suggests that MAYBE, there's reason to pause and reflect on CMGI, that maybe it won't go straight up forever OR if someone in the spirit of dialogue finds (upon light examination) major flaws in other posts, that everyone is so quick to scream "SHORT! SHORT! HE'S A SHORT!!"
as if that's a crime? After all, everyone who sells their shares each day takes the same position. Maybe they are merely scrutinizing their portfolio and asking DD questions -- and NOT blindly participating in a mania!

We've had a typical (for CMGI) correction and now I say that we're poised for some outstanding upside. If you're short, this might be a good time to consider covering and preserving your funds.

You may be right, you may be wrong. But we'll never know if you're right for the proper reasons (investing discipline, due diligence, etc.) because you simply are posting your wishes, not your reasons.

Neither long nor short CMGI (contrary to the mis-informed guesses of TokyoMex, who once again posts misleading informatio), but considering a position in CMGI. Reasoned analysis -- short and long -- is most welcome. Before you respond with a cheerleading message ("CMGI is going to 200 next week!! I know it! I've got inside info! This is the double-bottom! Clear sailing ahead!), do us all a favor: put your pompoms down and save yourself the typing.

In reality I or no one else has a clue as to what will really happen to this stock...However, with somewhat educated guesses and difference of opinions maybe some of the newbies can better decide whether this stock is for them.....
Bascially, i am just pointing to situations one has to be aware of and one of them being the current market conditions which NO stock is really immuned to..
Secondly, if something does jump out of washington and put a severe bite on the market then i doubt GCTY would dumb enough to go public with adverse conditions present..
In short, if things lighten up in washington and market conditions improve then i would like to see the downtrend in the nets start to reverse because stating only positive views on this stock..
CMGI with better conditions as i described may be a very very good play and i would be the first to admit it...
Otherwise i certainly think investors, especially new investors, have to weigh the risk to reward by looking at all sides...
