Tom, WWW is not technology friendly, so don't expect to find a Web site or e-mail address for the company. In fact, when they recently acquired an athletic shoe company (I forget the name), they killed that company's site.

I sent a note to IR manager Thomas Mundt about this, and he replied that despite its "WWW" stock symbol, the company has no plans at the moment to create a Web site. Meanwhile, many other companies are establishing Web sites to better serve large retail customers, as well as sell direct to consumers.

As for Russia, Wolverine sees the country as an emerging market for its products, especially hot brands like Caterpillar.
