Thanks for the well thought out reply, jla. I agree with you point for point.

The origional comment by DeGenova needed clarification. I suspect that what he meant was that Willey, et al could open their own causes of action, not that the Monica business would add significantly more horsepower to Jones's case.

Based on that scary Supreme Court ruling you mentioned (no proof of harm required), I think it is probable that Jones will have her appeal granted, and the civil suit will resume. But, with luck, she will be suing a convicted felon by the time it actually gets to a judge.
