For those that want to make earnings projections before we
even know if Valence can mass produce; something has been missing
from the numbers per line that have been posted to date. From
the annual report Valence will have to pay licenses fees and
royality payments to Bellcore. What these will amount to I do
not know but I would think it would be prudent guesstimate them.
Anyone have any guesses what they might be.
Also FMK has stated a number of times that Valence is selling
samples to OEM's. This does not agree with other's statements
about the last conference call where LD said that they were running
the lines at production rates to work out the problems and provide
samples free of charge to OEM's.
Long time bull with the scares to prove it.

Number of employees in NI.

Acording to the Red Chip report released in January, they had 75 employees in NI at that time, up from 55 the year before. In the latest 10K, they say they have 86 employees of their Dutch subsidiary based in NI as of March 31.

Unfortunately, they don't usually reveal the number of employees in their 10Q reports, so unless this is released during a conference call , or IR will answer this question, we won't know more until the next 10K.

But all in all, the evidence supports hiring in Northern Ireland.
