Last week I have seen evidence of quick profit taking. This explains why stocks like INTC did not go anywhere, and if this was the bull market that we have become familiar with, these same stocks would of broken out into an uptrend.

So if there is a rally, IMO there will be profit taking. For those that hold out, once the intraday momentum slows, more profit taking will ensue. I think it is unlikely that significant gains will be held. Perhaps any stock that may be temporarily pulled out of the crapper (a new technical term I am using) by a rally can be considered a PUT candidate, particularly if the rally brings it up to a point of significant resistance. This may be a trading strategy worth considering.
