I think this article Liberties has gone to new highs for liberties.. "No matter how many heartfelt speeches Linda Tripp gives about being at one with them, Americans are never going to forgive her illicitly taping a friend. " This statement and another statement in the Times last week shows how low some journalists might be... Wonder what kind of a friend Maureen Dowd is? Am I the only one outraged... It seems like pure slanted journalism... how can somebody in their right mind refer to a person as a "friend"(ie Monica) when the "friend"(Monica) tries to get her friend(re Linda) to possibly commit perjury and be either sent to jail if found out or at least be given the powers that be an excuse to fire her.."without even offering a high paid NY job(but of course Linda has skills which might have prevented that kind of an offer..mediocrity never seems to be threatening)...talk about narcissism... Have I missed something? ps..don't see Basketball...funny at times,probably more times funny for a ten year old, but boring..Something About Mary..hysterical but about "true friendship and caring"..the reporter might be jaded to say the least! (ps..I have heard repeatedly that laughter is good for the soul!) (also if possibly a movie maker did a parody on the stock market and the nifty fifty and amazon.com(;>) maybe everybody would run for gold!..(got that tied in somehow to the thread)
