shalom, I agree that the one that restrains is a strong angel. That is what I think restrains him now. When that strong angel is taken out of the way then the son of perdition,serpent, beast receives his authority for 42 months. The most obvious reason it cannot be the Holy Spirit that restrains is that if the Holy Spirit departs the earth (with the pre-trib rapture church) at that time then nobody can be saved any longer and regardless of what we don't agree on I think we do agree that #1 More will be saved after the son of perdition is revealed and #2 nobody can be saved without the ministry of the Holy Spirit on earth and #3 it is not in character with the ministry of the Holy Spirit which is the witness to the truth about Jesus Christ to be restraining the son of perdition. That is a battle situation which traditionally is handled by angels. Bob
