Mike,

Ok. I will admit that I don't know all there is to know about SOLV, the reorg plan etc.

I'll admit also, that I find it very intriguing that seemingly intelligent people (I include you in this group) still stand by this company.

I'm taking the advice of Mark and I'm going to obtain a copy of the reorg plan. I'm going to read it cover to cover. After that, perhaps we can discuss the merits or lack thereof with regards to SOLV?

Statistically, and I like the odds stacked in my favor, the majority of companies who "emerge" from Chapter 11 never succeed. I'm not talking about 51% failure here - more like 90+%. So, considering this, and assuming you know this fact, why do you stay invested?
The only reasons I can surmise are 1) You have a substantial amount invested, ie life savings, and cannot afford to think any other way,
2) You are too close to this company and cannot see the forest for the trees so to speak, or 3) (and I don't believe this) that you have an insight into this company that 99% of the investment community (analysts, Forbes, oil companies, investment bankers, me and all the other nay sayers) don't possess. I believe in Occams Razor - the simple explanation for a phenomenon is likely to be the correct one - this would strike item 3 from the list of possibilities.

Anyway, I would like to see the facts - but as you stated once to Barb, you won't share them with anyone on this board. I also find that curious. Because Mike, if you really possessed facts about this company, and here I'm talking about verifiable, irrefutable FACTS, not something that JR or Herb told you, not something that JR or Herb said in the Chapter 11 hearings, then you should not be afraid that those FACTS could somehow be used against you and SOLV. No, I would submit that you are reluctant, like David Coakley, to discuss your facts, because you only halfheartedly believe in them yourself.

The FACTS as I see them are:

Solv squandered 110 million in Canada.
Solv filed Chapter 11.
Solv emerged (whatever that means) from chapter 11.
Solv has no assets to speak of.
Solv has no viable process - let alone a revolutionary one.
Solv management is under investigation by the SEC for fraud.
Solv lied about material things concerning their business (ie fraud).
Solv was de-listed from NASD because they didn't meet market. capitalization minimums.
Solv spent 15 million dollars producing 500 barrels of worthless sludge.
The entire investment community seems to be against this company - reliable ones at least.
Solv has lost a major amount of money for its stockholders.

Now. If you, or Dave or anyone can refute these FACTS then please do!

Still waiting (for years now) for the FACTS

Gary
