Dell, where did you hear ADSL is good,and are these just trials or real life situations? I doubt that in a no controlled environment,with multiple connections over twisted pair,and bridge taps,load coils,and the like that you can get anywhere near quality. They keep on saying HFC is shared,but so is anything,depending on the set up. I am tired of the same old dribble,we have approximately 250 thousand cable modem subs in North America,I haven't heard of many complaints. I have heard of many troubles inj the ADSL trials,and I doubt that the RBOC's ever intend on this being a consumer staple. ADSL is the EDSEL of our generation,brought to you by the monopilists of our day,the RBOCS. Hiram
