Sorry, not much.

I was a heavy investor in Novel before they bought Word Perfect.

Many of the features considered necessary for Enterprise computing were originated in Netware. I believe the directoy service is one. Linux is not a competitor of Novel, in fact some would like to see more emphasis on Netscape on Linux. Recall that Novel had their chance and dropped their investment in Unix to go head-to-head with MS.

The fact that Novel is still around amazes me. It may just be that people do better work for love than money.

And this is what pushes Linux. It has a real chance of unseating NT4.0 if NT5.0 release is delayed into year 2000 as some think it might be. (Currently MS is still saying late '98...). Linux programers work for FREE. See lantimes.com
