I don't need proof because I don't believe the basic strategy will work and am not long on Amazon. If you feel comfortable investing in this bloated cow, then go right ahead.

I like Amazon.com management and think they have a fair chance in guiding the company to a modest profit in three to five years at the present burn rate and under the stock dilution and options plan. They may even wind up being worth north of $50 in 3-4 years.

Rob, How much did America Online lose before generating profits?


Just because AOL became profitable, that does not mean AMZN will. Look at CompuServe from the past.By the way, AOL is not exactly turning out large profits.
