More speculation:

It seems Banshee will ship as 2xAGP and maybe .25 micron => 125MHZ.
MIRO advertises Banshee as 2xAGP, so maybe TDFX has decided to pass .35m technology and leap directly to .25m. That would be wise because otherwise many buyers would wait .25m(125MHZ) version anyway,
and as a bonus added speed would kick hard TNT.

Or are perhaps they testing if it's possible to run a Banshee 0.35m at higher than 100Mhz and include 2xAGP in that version. That would explain the quietness in releases, while card makers have not yet received final specs for Banshee.
