Alan, I agree 100% that getting a good execution system is only one small piece of the puzzle. Learning how to use it is another. But none of it means anything without good trading skills. My point is just that anyone trading for a living is doing it well enough and with enough volume that it doesn't pay to deprive yourself of a tool that can enhance your results. This is a difficult enough profession without tying one hand behind your back. Regarding the 90% failure rate, I would say that 90% is an optimistic figure. I'd bet the true success rate is less than 5%. I define success as consistently making your living from trading over an extended period. aj
