Bay held up very nice today. My OPINION is that when the markets start to turn around(very soon) BAY will shoot up to 40 and maybe test the 42 range. Of course, their price will coincide with NT's. I can't say I've done enough research on NT to determine about long term. Maybe someone else who was following NT before the merger could elaborate on that.

I think it simply shows the potential institutional
control and interest in a given stock.

I expect the institutional interest in NT to increase
significantly... (merger should add another 12% to
NT's current 21%)

There is no set date for the merger to complete yet.
Lot's of paperwork, perhaps sometime in Sept. 98
