These are good points. Imagine a would be hacker hacking triple DES on a PC for $20 fraud...and then on to the next for another measly $50 or so. Sounds like much too hard work for your average get rich quick hacker.

Now compare that to putting the firewall on the server side of say..a bank....now that sounds a lot more juicy.

No, I think these boys would do better investing their ill-gotten gains in wavx:)!
