Barron's seems dedicated to the novel idea that a company's management should show -- at least occasionally -- some ability to enhance the wealth of its stockholders. 2. Given all this talk of "pipelines," they assume LGND must be in the oil/gas business, and we all know oil/gas has been sliding bigtime, sorta like. . . . In fact, by that standard, maybe being down 13.8% YTD is not so bad. 3. Maybe their readers aren't really "big boys." Other possibilities? Harrison Hickman
