Ramsey,

Thanks for the information and the links. I was aware of the sanctions on korean companies that diverted $$$ to unprofitable subsidiaries as well as the debt/equity ratio figures. I am still at a loss to explain or determine how these dram makers can continue to operate at a loss.... from all accounts they must be operating on razor-thin margins...if so, what happens when their equipment breaks down or when demand picks up and they don't have the funds to invest in more productive capital equipment??
