I have had several talks with John Gorman and John Mason recently and I have found out a few things. First of all Chada didn't buy the stock from an unnamed third-party. He bought the stock from Osicom's credit line bank. They had acquired the stock because one of the companies that FIBR had acquired went belly-up. The bank is not in the business of holding stock and was going to sell on the open market. So Chada (and some others) bought it from them. Simple as that. He was not obligated to buy.

As far as the Net+Arm goes, it is a great new product. But like the Gigamux, the market for it is just getting started. And they are making good progress at selling that product. They have more business lined up for it than Echelon has for it's product. But it is hard to sell a new product for a new market, especially for a company without a strong marketing group. And I would rather that they didn't do the IPO. I don't think it's necessary and won't likely fly with FIBR at this market cap. I think they should just concentrate on making some sales and let the market price follow.

On a more positive note, I told John Gorman I was considering buying more FIBR at this level and asked him bluntly if he was going to buy any soon. He said yes. So I would look for insiders to continue to acquire more stock. I believe they all do truly believe in the eventual success of this company as a profitable telecom and network equipment provider.

>> I am still watching.<<
I think that's a good idea. Don't jump into anything you're not comfortable with and then only at the level of investment you're comfortable with.

At the same time, it's no secret that the biggest rewards come to those who get in at the lowest prices and hold to the highest prices. Fair question: "what is the lowest price".

I "kept watching" Lucent and a number of stocks that I wish I had acted on at the beginning. Likewise, I jumped into some that I wish I never had. Certainly with hindsight I'd have waited until today to invest in Osicom. I'm still optimistic and believe that, short of stock manipulation or fraud, this company will be very profitable in 2 or 3 quarters.
