It seems to me that a much better fit would be with the privately held Thomson corporation or Bridge Corp.(last time i checked Thomson had over $7 billion in annual revenues and Bridge recently acquired the Telerate division of Dow Jones).

Both Newz and Thomson's Financial services group are based in Boston. Thomson is one of NEWZ's key content partners and they have a strong need for a platform which serves the corporate marketplace. Well, we will probably/hopefully learn more tomorrow but just for giggles put down in the rumour pool for Thomson and $18 a share

Come on people! I think all this take over talk is just rumor on the web boards. IMHO the spike was a short squeeze. The call options didn't move that much and Volpe's bound to be buying big blocks if it shorted the thing when they downgraded.

My guess is 9 - 10 at the open, and 8ish at the close. Short term, it could drift back to 6 - 7, but long term it's still a great stock.

Then again I may be wrong? (that would be nice)
