I like that song!

My personal experience is very much in accord with the letter to which you referred us earlier. Remember I took a cab from the Expo and the driver was asking me whether to unpack the 1400c he bought TWO years ago and had never opened? He called me recently for a little help. At least he opened the box.

When I was leaving Tekserve on Monday (a week ago! I want my Mac back) on the elevator a woman noticed it was a Mac shop and she began asking me questions about which computer to buy. I urged her to go back upstairs to order her Mac. Yes, she did ask if they were going under and if there was enough software, but she still was asking about buying a Mac.

The thing is that I don't get out much, but when I do get out it seems very often people are asking me about Macs. That hasn't been the case for quite a while. I take that to be a barometer of the sentiment of the population.

Apple is on peoples' minds, and positively.

13 days to the release of the iMac...

iMac, uMac, we want an iMac!
Linda

PS: the 300 minitower is still not working and the 3400's mouse clicker has broken again! I HAVE to get the G3 working before I send the 3400 for another repair!

<<the iMac is not the only floppy-less Mac Apple sells. Certain configurations of the Wall Street Powerbook are available without floppy.>>

Don't forget the Duos. They sold pretty well, also if you look at some of the PC laptops or subnotes, they also lack floppies.
