Kurt, I agree with all that you have said this weekend. Thank you for putting in the time necessary to post some reality here. I am just now getting the opportunity to publicly give my two cents. Here goes. Nothing is going wrong with the company or Portico. Bigger resellers are on the way. It takes longer to negotiate a contract with, for example, a Circuit City, than a PNG Computers. Anyone who has ever been involved with contract negotiations knows this. Bigger corporation, more red tape, more at stake, bigger edge wanted,etc... Does anyone here really believe that the Carriers are going to punt on this service? Why did MCI JUST JOIN THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS? Why are 8 carriers now testing the service? Because it is gold for them. They make their money off of the road warriors, not the mom and pops. Even though the road warriors comprise a minority of the subscriber base, they comprise a huge amount of usage and profits for the Carriers. How will realtors hear about Portico? Every Board of Realtors I interact with has a sweetheart deal with local resellers for phones, fees, and services. As the list of resellers expands, so will this type of market penetration. PNG Computers is already asking for ways to connect with realtors in Philadelphia and they are in New York. They want to get it before someone local gets established. Everyone step back and think about the future, and how many articles talk over and over about the confluence of computers and telephones, about the growing interest in Voice User Interfaces, and about e-commerce. Do you believe in the products that GMGC has rolled out and they have in the pipeline? If you do, then invest for the long haul and stop listening to the soap opera that occurs on a daily basis. Go read some of SD Jones' posts on Yahoo over the last month. He has been trying to dampen expectations for a huge price run-up at the roll out so that disappointment wouldn't turn to panic. He called it right- that many of the hypesters would bale once they didn't get rich quick, and he would laugh at them in December when things were really starting to move. We are all on the outside. The powers that be are always a step ahead of us in the short term. Sometimes that works in our favor and sometime not as far as the short term stock price. BUT I HAVE SAID IT OVER AND OVER, ultimately it will be the company, its products, and its revenues that determine where the stock price will go. Do you believe in the company, its Board, its management, its products (now and future)? I saw the demo, I listened to Dr. Markman, I have gotten nothing but positive feedback from eveyone I have had listen to the demo. I don't know what will happen over the next few days. I do feel they will be volatile. AND, IMHO, I feel that the future looks good for GMGC. Thanks for hearing me out on this. Secons Out.
