From Wave 1st qtr. results dated 5/21/98 "During the quarter, we also made significant progress marketing a new security application for our WaveMeter chip. Our marketing effort for this second major WaveMeter application is being spearheaded by Lark Allen, whom we recently recruited from IBM. The security application is receiving significant attention and has allowed us to broaden the base of OEMs interested in the Wave System. WaveMeter security applications offer OEMs the first low cost, general purpose distributed security solution for commercial 'client' PCs. Wave is currently working to develop a critical mass of support for deployment of the WaveMeter technology including silicon suppliers, OEMs, content providers and security." This would indicate $ $ $ to be made by MARKETING the security aspect of the wave chip. So it is more than just an added feature as was discussed earlier on one of these boards. bill h
