Friends,

If it becomes a proven fact (under the law) that the claims against Clinton are true (yes, I hold out some hope as an American that I can be spared such embarrassment), I would say I am, like many others, a bit disappointed. In addition, I am equally disappointed, as many other Americans, that at a time when the world is depending upon us for economic stability (to name one example), Starr and his kind have found this to be a cause worthy of pursuit. I felt similarly about the Democrats sniping at Newt's 'book deal', and any number of a long list of 'indiscretions' which have occurred during my short lifetime that political opposites so love to parade before the public as moral monstrosities.

Alas, since I am so obviously a poor judge of character (either due to lack of info or talent), I am left right back where I started-- having the dubious task of deciding where candidates stand in relation to issues most likely to have the greatest affect on me and my family: school vouchers, abortion, Funding of the NEA, taxes etc.

Somehow, I bet that scares the hell out of some of you.

But I suppose that is another thread.

;-)

B.
