Gee.. do ya think that perhaps overall market sentiment might have something to do with holding CSCO down?

Puff,

Oh my, still waiting for the much coveted pre-earnings run up...

I guess we got it..albeit late. At 98, up 2 1/4. We can only imagine where we would be if the market wasn't off today... up 4 perhaps? Well, we won't be greedy. And yes, before you respond.. I do agree that there will likely be profit taking after earnings since Cisco typically doesn't "blow-out" their numbers. They're consistent..that's why they are the darling of the networking stocks and that's why downturns will affect this stock, as a percentage, less than other more volatile issues.

Good investing...er..a.. should I say...good saving to you ;) BTW: how's your bank accounts doing...still earning 5% annually?

Gary

At least it wnt up $0.75 in a market where DOW droped more than 90 points.
I think the sell off of the High tech stocks is closed to an end, not all high tech stocks drop today, look at IBM, DELL, CPQ, INTC ...etc.
