Well.. it is official, I have given up on the YHOO thread. Talk over there is so frantic, and real insight so rare, that it is a waste of my time to sort through the 200+ messages that are posted after market close every morning for the one or two good ones. I think the reason the thread is so bad is that the posters there A. Don't pay for the service, B. Can change screenames at will, and C. Are often trading small positions with a majority of their capital tied up in the stock.
I too was once a trial member, and I am glad that the restriction is on 3 posts a day, but I think it is disconcerting to see trial members posting things like
"so basically we are hanging to life, and these guys can manipulate the stock how they desire? "
(Sorry to pick on you Luke)
This kind of post is not meaningful and is more a statement of fear, than an attempt to understand why the market is moving the way it is.
Coming in to the office this morning I read several GREAT posts that explained several theories as to where/when/how the stock would/could move. Anyone taking time to look at these posts would not have to ask this question. I am perfectly happy to have intelligent question/answers with/from guest members, but when we have 20 or so posts from guests I fear that this board will become like the YHOO thread has.
regards,
JC
