**** OFF TOPIC *****

Zeem wrote in part:

I changed our entire office over to Win98 without a hitch. I'm real happy with the OS.

But wait, Win98 is not an operating system, is it? I thought it was more like some type of graphical user interface system. Well, I could have said that Windows95 was a non-operating system, right?

now unix, well....THAT's an operating system....

*grin*

and you know, I've been giving a LOT of thought to this linux stuff for a long time.....

OT: NOTE TO ALL: On Windows 98...Be sure to use the 95 system file backup procedure when you do the 98 upgrade. It is one of the options that the upgrade wizard gives to you when you do the upgrade. I allows a clean uninstallation of 98 if it doesn't work for you.

OT 2nd NOTE TO ALL: DELL does not recommend converting drives to FAT32 at this time. They don't say why, except that they do not yet support it. I've noticed that some of you with DELL computers have done this, and I didn't know if you knew about DELL's position.
